Embarrass, WI.
The other day I went on quite the road trip across Wisconsin. While I planned on a two hour drive from point A to point B, I ended up taking close to three and a half hours thanks to a closed bridge. Yeah, some jerks thought it was a great idea to repair a bridge needed of repair and FUCK UP MY TRIP.

It wasn't all bad though. There was one major consolation to the detour. I had to take a route I've never taken before and I ended up passing through Embarass. No, that capitalization is not in error, that's the awesome name to the awesome town "Embarrass." It's one of the best town names I've heard, and I really hope they call their sports teams the embarrassments.

Don't believe me? Check my creds, they're legit.

So remember a couple posts ago I was saying “OMG SO MUCH TRAFFIC OMG.” Well I was taking on all the traffic from Explosm like a champ, but after some traffic came pouring in from Reddit last night the culmination of all this traffic finally overloaded my bandwidth and killed the site. For about eight hours people were greeted with a 503 error and no access to Lovenstein, the pour deprived souls. All should be well now though. I have upgraded my bandwidth from steel to mithril, come at me bro.

In unrelated news, Elizabeth Schmid won first prize in the Lovenstein Fan Art Competition and she will be receiving a Rock and Roll Panda T-Shirt! Runner-up was Johan Arvidsson and he'll be getting a sweet ass coffee mug. Thanks to everyone who participated!
Mr. Lovenstein Fan Art Competition Entries.
Just like I said, here are the entries for the Lovenstein fan art competition and boy what entries they are! First place, chosen by me, will win a new Rock and Roll Panda T-shirt and runner up will win a 11 oz. Lovenstein mug. The winners will be announced tomorrow. So without further ado, here are the submissions.

BlueCirclewithLines

By Chris Countney.

I have no idea how this has anything to do with Mr. Lovenstein, but it's so abstract I like it. I feel like it represents society, and my soul.. and circles.

LeftRight

By Chris Burke.

Here's an awesome recreation of a Left and Right comic that even does a good job of matching my humor. I may just steal this one and claim it as my own.

Lovensteinhiddenpanels

By Johan Arvidsson.

Cool comic by Johan here detailing how he reacted to some sort of secret panels, but I have no idea what he's talking about. I loved the facial expressions.

Lovenstein1000

By Elizabeth Schmid.

She managed to encompass a lot of Lovenstein comics into this one, very impressive. I like the idea of having a band that solely consists of a drummer and a triangle player. I would go to Every. Single. Show.

Minecraft Lovenstein.

By William Cole.

This is a good representation of how big my ego has gotten. If you can't tell, he built my logo in the game Minecraft, but I have a feeling he didn't build this brick by brick. It some ways I hope not because then I'd start feeling like a Pharaoh. Either way, awesome idea.

So there you have it folks. They're all so good it's going to be tough decide who gets to win. I may have to setup a dart board and throw these submissions at it. I think that's how it works.
