One-Year Anniversary and Guest Comic Week.
Posted September 20, 2011 at 1:32pm
In a couple days, September 22nd to be exact, I will have hit my one year anniversary of running this pink and green website! How exciting, eh?! I’ll go into much more detail on the 22nd about my one year, so LOOK OUT FOR DAT!
In celebration of this occasion, and to give me a goddamn break, Lovenstein is taking this week to host guest comics from fellow and lesser-known webcomic artists. A lot of the submissions I got are from artists just starting out or just have an interest in starting a webcomic, so I hope hosting them on here will give them some nice exposure and help get the ball rolling for their up-and-coming websites much like I was a year ago (and I still have a looooonnnnngggg way to go). So check them out, give them some love, and expect to see a nice flow of new Lovenstein starting next week!

If you haven't noticed yet, things are looking a little different around here. As I'm closing in on my one year anniversary of doing this shit, I decided to slap on a fresh coat of paint. It's something I've been slowly working on over the course of the summer and it's finally done.
Mostly what I did was clean things up such as smoothing and thickening (there's a sex joke in there somewhere) the borders and rewriting most of the text. I completely changed the Shuffle button because that beast was taking up too much room for it's own good.
You probably won't see another revision on this scale in a long time so might as well get used to it's beauty or at least pretend to like it.

Mmm, feels good to be typing on my blog once more. Sorry for the slow and spastic updates here. I've been running on limited internet lately (using the 3G on my phone) and I haven't put much thought into the blog. The biggest problem lies in finding a special purpose for this bad boy. I already try to keep things up-to-date on the Facebook page, the twitter account, my email account, and now my Google+ page, so it's getting harder and harder to disperse day to day life amongst so many outlets.
I've bounced around a few ideas on how to utilize my blog and I've decided on a couple thingies. First of all, the blog will be the go-to place for any site updates. Secondly, I'm going to try to use my blog for a daily sketch that I'll start producing this coming September. Just something fun to keep challenging myself on a daily basis.
I may think of more unique uses for the blog as time goes on, but for now I've got things divided up quite well.
Sorry for all those who check into my blog once and a while, and thanks for your interest. Bye for now, take care!
