It's one of the most infamous match-ups in the Animal Kingdom.

- Shark vs. Crocodile
- Lion vs. Wildebeest
- Eagle vs. Goat

I had to watch a video in my Biology lab the other day that was... quite disturbing. An eagle swoops in, grabs a goat by the legs, drags it along a mountain, and then lets it drop hundreds of feet to it's death. Then the eagle picks up the whole goat and flies away with it.



I am now terrified of eagles. One could swoop in any minute and just carry me off, dropping me off a cliff somewhere. It would happen so fast..

BAM. Eagle. Gone.

I'm trying to picture Mufasa explain this to Simba when he's telling him about the circle of life.



"You see Simba, the eagle takes the goat and violently throws it off a mountain to splatter against the ground below... And..."



"...And..."

Had a recollection today of an unfortunate event in my life. The day I was horribly deceived. I was at a friend's house long ago and he had himself a Nintendo. I asked if we could play it and he agreed, saying he had an awesome game called "Blades of Steel." It sounded awesome and I was pretty jacked to play it, expecting this:



He turned it on and the main screen came up.



Still looking good, I was ready to get some sword action on!

Then the game loaded...

Today's comic sure is a special one. It's my first partially animated comic (something I want to get much more into in the future) and features some cool heat distortion effects. How I came about making it this way was a bizarre series of events and I might explain it later in a future post, but my time is limited for now. (Yet had time for a lengthy explanation.)

Now, on the main page some people may not be able to see the effect. I'm using an animated .png which isn't supported by many browsers except Firefox. So if you don't see the effect, I'll put a .gif version of it below you can take in that wobbly goodness.
